About the Author
Kent Michael Carringer
Kent Carringer is a Knoxville, Tennessee native. His love for literature and writing began at an early age when he read the first sentence of Poe's Fall of the House of Usher. After traveling extensively in middle school and high school, during which time he lived in Saint Martin in the Caribbean and Waterford, Ireland, Kent returned to Knoxville. He attended the University of Tennessee, where he received a bachelor's degree in English Literature before earning a law degree from the University Tennessee School of Law. He currently resides and practices law in Knoxville with his wife Jessica and their two children Olivia Scarlett and Jack Michael. When he is not with his family at Norris Lake, Kent can usually be found listening to the Mountain Goats or Tom Waits. On good days, he listens to both…preferably on vinyl.
